Jus Nice Does Interview with RollingOut.com

Jus Nice talks with Rollingout.com about chasing his hip-hop dream.

Jus Nice understands how fickle the hip-hop game can be when it comes to opening the doors for newcomers. Although he has released two acclaimed mixtapes (Karma and Karma 2) and surefire singles "Voicemail" and "Celebrate," Jus Nice continues to pursue an education and prepare for life after he puts the mic down. With the recent release of Karma 2, Jus Nice proves that he has the skills and precise timing to make an impression in hip-hop. Jus Nice spoke with rolling out about his new mixtape, his journey as an unsigned artist and why he continues to work hard to grant his mother's last wish. –a.r.

Jus Nice ft. Kustom - Panties Drop

My dude, Jus Nice, is working hard . . . proceeding & progressing! So close to signing with a record deal AND about to graduate from college?!?! (shoutout to Lander University). With all that stress on his shoulders he's still moving headstrong towards being the best. He never cease to amaze me with his music.

It's a FRESSH movement . . . We Got This

First thing first, big ups to my boy Jus Nice for SHUTTING DOWN the Hut Thursday night (Oct. 29th) in Greenwood, SC.

In photo: Jus Nice (left) & his manager, Jah (right) outside the Hut

Ray Daniels of Universal/Motown was in the building! He drove all the way from the A to see what all the fuss was about. . .and Jus Nice with the help of all his supporters showed Daniels exactly why they call him "Nice!"

I was able to drive from Myrtle Beach to attend the party as well to watch Jus Nice perform for over 500 people. However, I wasn't able to take pictures/videos of the performance because it was so crowded & hot that my lenses kept fogging up. . .(& I was not about to ruin my new camera . . . okay?!? . . . lol)

In Photo (from left to right): Nathalie, Jus nice, & P. Russ (me)

Luckily, there were so many people out there with cameras that I was able to find a few pics to post as well as a VIDEO of Jus Nice performing "Insecure" (featuring Tariq) from his latest mixtape, Karma. Click here & step your music game UP if you have yet to download Karma.

This is your girl, P.Russ just keeping it funky . . . Be good & God Bless!

I Need You to Scream 'Til Your Lungs Get Sore. . .

I would like someone to explain to me why Justin 'Jus Nice' Grant does not have a deal. Why am I not hearing his music on MY radio? It makes no sense to me. What does this kid need to do? Tell everyone they're a JERK followed by a LOL :-)? Get outta here!

Jus Nice has dropped yet another HOT single titled "Encore" from his up and coming album, Karma. This track is super fresh (pun intended, just add another s) and is definitely one of my favorites, so far. . .

I spoke with the artist via Facebook to get an exclusive on why he wrote "Encore" . . .

"Encore" came about due to me wanting to express my emotions about my mother and the constant emotional struggles I have been going through with her death and my music. . .Well life period. I just wanted people to hear this other side of me which I'm just learning how to express. The part of the verse that gets me the most is "Summer '07/Moms went to Heaven/Lost everything and my drive I had to question/" that line was hard for me because I was scared to express it but I want people to know me on all levels.

Jus Nice continues to show us that he is NO "Cat in the Hat" rapper who relates hip-hop to a laundry list of s*** they own while looping beats that any amateur with pro-tools can make. My advice to you, Justin 'Jus Nice', is don't ever be afraid to express how you feel in your music. Hip-hop is about metaphors relating to life & the soul needs to come back into hip-hop

Click on the link below and give "Encore" a listen. . .leave your feed back & as always be good & God bless.

"Jus" call him the CAPITAL. . .

*"Insecure" by Jus Nice will be the Default Song of the Month for Bossology 102*

From recording songs in his dorm room, to selling mix tapes out the ***, to doing shows at different colleges . . . Justin "Jus Nice" Grant is back at it once again with another HIT single featuring Tariq called "Insecure" from his upcoming album Karma!

For those of you who don't know . . . this isn't another young rapper just trying to have the "money and the cars, cars and the clothes, the hoes"....HE REALLY JUST WANTS TO BE SUCCESSFUL! And to be honest, the kid is on his way with South Carolina on his shoulders!

Ladies love him, girls adore him; men respect him, boys hate on him. . .but please believe, Lander University supports Jus Nice 100%.

Now I know how some of ya'll get so I'm going to cut this short and let the music speak for itself!

Leave some feedback . . . and as always, be good & God Bless!

Why do YOU think they call him Jus Nice?

F.R.E.S.S.H. BOY, Justin "Jus Nice" Grant has a CD out. The CD has some HOTT songs (yes, two T's). Now, I'm not saying this because I know him, I'm saying this because it's true!! I don't look at him the same way I look at other local artist . . . probably because of the way he presents himself. You know what I mean? You can just look at him and see that he's destined for GREAT-NESS & that he's going to have an ample amount of success! Take my word for it, better yet, download his CD "Avoiding the Cliché" at: http://www.zshare.net/download/5583115398fb734c

Now I know some of you will not do it because you've probably had a bad experience with your stereotypical local artist who sells you a $5 CD that turns out to be wack!! You know the type . . . the songs have a good beat but the lyrics make no sense!?! Well, I’m here to tell you that THIS CD IS DIFFERENT. . . AND you can download it for FREE! So click on the following link: http://www.zshare.net/download/5583115398fb734c/ so you can hear how NICE he really is!
